I heart Google

I’d like to take a couple of minutes to commend Gmail. Who would’ve thought that it’s so amazing and useful? I just discovered the point of labeling my mail as the result of my wondering why there weren’t any folders. With that, I set up my school account to forward all my stuff to Gmail, too. I just spent the last 15 minutes happily labeling all my documents and mail. Man, Google really is on top of things.

It’s too bad I get at least 50 pieces of spam in my inbox daily, though. I designated all junk to be sent to this email (for 2 years or so) before I started using it for real. Now, the next step is to get rid of all the spam… Not that I have a problem with it being in its designated folder and that it doesn’t meddle with my regular stuff, but the “358″ sure looks ugly on the sidebar.

Over it

As fun and exciting it might be to be doing all that I have over the past couple of months, I’m just more than ready to graduate. I have approximately two weeks of this academic quarter left, and then in three weeks’ time I will be wandering, lost, in the Bren Center and wearing a gown five sizes too big for me.

I wish that I had done the research thing earlier. It kills me that I can’t get grants just because I won’t be an undergrad anymore. Guhhhh.

I don’t know how much more I can keep up! ..or how far I’ve fallen behind..

Good thing I’m going to the Yay! Area soon soon soon.

I’m a bit weirded out by this

I just found out recently that not one, but two of my good friends from high school are getting married this summer. This is crazy. Congratulations to them, but this is still crazy. The last time I attended a wedding was 10+ years ago.

And here I am, with my mother continually asking me if I have a boyfriend yet. I tell her no and she thinks I’m lying. Oh that’s right, my cousin is getting married this summer, too. I wish I was lying to her!
